Day of Lily Events Claimed

We picked the Event Management package and worked with Brian Rudy-Moghaddasi. This package was a good balance for us in terms of cost savings and relieving stress. In the early stages of wedding planning, we did the work to reach out to vendors, book them, and handle the communication. Day of Lily helped us get started and provided an overall framework for us. Brian was available for any questions we had. He helped us find blind spots and understand contracts (which we definitely needed some help with). Anytime we felt lost, we emailed Brian and he generally responded pretty quickly with information that helped us keep moving forward with the wedding planning process. A bit over a month out, Brian joined us for a walkthrough of the venue with some of the other vendors and helped us see how all of the pieces we had planned would fit together. He put together a timeline and a layout that was perfect for communication with our other vendors. Once we were a month out, Brian took over most of the communication with the vendors to make sure each one was working from the same information and helped everything go smoothly. We had underestimated how much DIY we had planned to do, so we were preoccupied with that, so any help from Brian during this period was great. The part was Brian was really invaluable was the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day. We were able to hand off the decor, linens, and more to Brian and Biyce (the assistant coordinator) the morning of the wedding and stop worrying about the details. After spending about 16 months planning every detail, it was difficult to stop focusing on the details and logistics. Whenever I started thinking about the details (wait, how are the linens going to get to the right groomsman so he can drop them off tomorrow morning?), I remembered that we had already discussed the details ahead of time with Brian and even if we hadn’t, he had enough experience to anticipate and respond to anything that came up. I knew that Brian was familiar with our family dynamics that we had written up for him, so he would be able to make sure there wasn’t additional friction. At the end of the night, he perfectly coordinated our sparkler exit to our getaway car with leftovers in the backseat. Overall, Day of Lily provided exactly what we were looking for at an affordable price point. Brian (and everyone else we talked with) was professional and transparent throughout the process, helped us answer questions, and relieved so much stress on our wedding day.
